i ordered my pound o' dice thru enworld, and have been very pleased.

if you are one of those people who needs their d4-d20 to all be the same sparkly purple it isn't for you, but it sounds ideal for this guys problem. a large bag of random dice, several of each, and yes, i think it is about a pound.

some are boring colors, some are cool, and there are a minority that i don't know what to do with :)

for the price and convenience it is fantastic.

put away "your" dice and unload this heaping helping of random polyhedrons for the game group. with what i got in my bag i am sure i could run a party of 6-8 thru just about anything with dice to spare.

From buying a bowl full of the things at Gen Con UK for 5£ (about 7.5$) I can say that 150-60 dice are a little less that 2 pounds. That whas the best deal I can imagine for dice, I still can't really belive it!

Hell yeah that's good around here a standard assortment of D&D dice is $5-7, btw that's one of each.

I have to agree, get the Pound O' Dice. My local Gaming store has the same pouind o dice that Morrus has in the online store, and for about $20 to $25 US its worth it. Particularly if you get each of the rest of they guys in your group to pitch in a few bucks. Then, take them back to somebody's house, empty the dice out into a bucket, and everyone take turns picking out one die at a time. I guarantee, everyone in your group will get at least two full sets of dice this way, with other bonus dice to spare. I think in the Pound O Dice that I got, I had almost as many d6's as I did all the other types of dice put together.

What is this? Never heard of it. I assume a pound of dice, but where could I get such a glorious thing?
I've seen it on E-Bay, but Chessex is the maker. Also, (no joke) they sell "5 Pounds O' Dice" too.:D

dice

Although it's just a bunch of bags, one guy on Ebay is selling 12-pounders.

The price of a 1-lb bag was $17.50, which is great considering that one set of each costs a total of about $6.

And I'm sure you get more than 3 d20...and when you're rolling an army of kobolds at your PC's...you need a lot more than 3. :D

You know, it's weird how "Knights of the Dinner Table" gets more real and real as time goes by. They had a mention of some sort of "Dice for Needy Gamers" charity in one of the issues, which I thought "bah! what gamer wouldn't have a set of dice?!"

Well, I just got my answer :p
