Aging, unaging, and "...you still die when your time is up"

Monks are trying to perfect their self, and at some time, being a alive won`t help that.
But they also think that a violent (even if willing) death does mean you died at a time that is not "perfect", so Monks decide to die (permanently) only when your time is up...

See it this way: normally, dying is somewhat that happens more or less gradually - body functions fail, one after one.
But if you (as a Monk or Druid) die of old age, though your body is still in perfect health (no diseases, no negative aging effects, no injuries), you pass away in a moment, a perfect way of dying...

Jump on me if I am wrong, but I had just assumed that Druids and Monks do not feel the effects of aging (ie. game penalties), but eventually the bodies give out.
