Ah! Tarrasque!

Forget the naysayers. Charge!

I haven't heard a good "we were eaten by the tarrasque!" story in awhile, so hopefully next week Jdvn1 will check back in to let us know how it went...
That was my first intinct. :D Well, specifically, "Char-- wait. This might be a bad idea."

... That's a cool idea. And Energy Resistance (Acid) should cover the being swallowed, right? Easy enough.
It's 2d8+6 acid, so you'd need a lot to be safe (20 would be good).

What's more, there's also 2d8+6 crushing damage. Damage reduction, maybe?

Hmm... I think Jdvn1 really wants this thread to become hot, and soon it will be.
I wonder if this all is just his latest scheme to increase his post count... ;)

How about you cast stone shape to make a downward slope...add in a couple grease spells, open a gate at the end...and give it a little nudge. Hopefully it will stay sleeping as it slides through the gate.... or if it wakes up, create an illusion of a hot girly Tarrasque walking through the gate...bugs bunny style
Hilarious.

find out what it eats and put out a buffet table (The terrasque is only active for what? 24 hours and it only wakes up to eat right?) Figure out how far it could travel in a day (realisticly. Its not just going to start a walkabout, itll feed and go back to sleep) warn the appropriate populace it could threaten, and be sure to tell their leaders that some whack job is interested in waking up a doomsday machine. (this should get more than one kingdom on your side, get out your best little black number and prepare for WAR!)
... I thought it was more like 2 weeks. I wonder how effect a Hero's Feast would be... well, I don't think I want to give him the plusses either, though.

I'm... not sure how plausible this is. The GM's running a kind of funky game and this dude might be a low level deity. He runs a gladiatorial arena and Gates in lots of powerful creatures to fight challengers. Supposedly, he's Gated in two Tarrasques before.

I want to take the leader down, mind you, but I don't think pursuing that is a good idea yet.
That's an interesting character for a relatively low-magic world. I can see why he's become the boss.

Hmmm...could be right, maybe I should stop replying to all my respondees in one post with their names and a ":" to separate replies and instead write twenty one sentence posts :D

I was thinking Energy Immunity, since that's the one I have prepared. Either way, though.

And I have DR 15/-, which covers average damage. I also have Fast Healing 2, which helps too.

... Hot? I've gotten some really good ideas in here, though.
