Air bubble in dice-affecting rolls?

Wootz

First Post
Just wondering this, because I know there's air bubbles in dice, but I was looking at it, and I was wondering how much it really affects rolls? I notice one d20 in particular is very prone to rolling a 2, subsequently it (aside from it being kinda ugly) does not see much use at all. But maybe it's just random chance? I can't tell >_>

It might significantly affect rolls... if you're rolling the dice under water.

This is why I prefer metal dice when running "underwater" campaigns.;)

You get better action out of them when rolling on the bottom of the pool.:p

(Of course, character sheets can get a little soggy though.)

Does the dice having rounded edges count at all?

Yes. Got 20 minutes of free time? Let Mr. Zocchi explain.

Mr. Z probably does the best job of explaining what does and does not alter the probability of your dice rolls. He is recommended for good reason, the guy knows his dice.

Aw, well I bought a dice set from chessex, as well as everyone else I game with, and my d20 is kinda rounded on all edges, and it does roll a really long time :/ so I'm guessing chessex is crap or what?
