Albany Gameday III (April 2nd) Game Sign ups have started

I can put you on the 'reserves' list, megamania. We've got 6 games already but if someone drops out or if get enought people to fill another slot we'll call you up to bat.

That is, if things work out with the wife.

I hope it works out. I have hoping to get over to check out the store for a few months now eversince Cedious and fiends ...er friends started going regularly.

What kind of time slot are we looking at? 4 hour?

Yup. The 'standard' 4 hour slot. 10 am or 3 pm start.

Well, if I have the day off from work, I'm definitely in. Can't make it for the 10am slot though, only the 3pm one. At least I know how to use the buses in Albany now!

Quite a few, but I'm on my way to work now (boo vacataion being over, boo). Either tonight or tomorrow morning I'll compile everything into one nice little guide. A couple of tidbits though...

The only really annoying thing is you can't walk over the Hudson from downtown. That upset me, because I like to always be moving.

The bus from the train station to downtown comes like every half hour or hour. I don't know about the bus station, but I'll find out. Downtown to ZP drops you off across the street, so be prepared to cross somewhere. On the other hand, ZP to Downtown has a stop right by ZP, so it's not a problem to catch.

I checked out the website for the store... looks good. Looks like better bring more than a 50 though...ouch.

Well, you don't have to bring more then $50 but they are a fully stocked Game store. The only thing I would add to the store is an 8 foot battle mat for sale (just because those are neat and a novelty) and more odd dice to buy (though that may just be me).

I can understand avoiding my games, but chickening out of playing? One should not chicken out from my games. I have no reputation as a great GM or storyteller. I just provide hopefully interesting pregens and set up. It is the players that do all the work making my games fun.

It seemed more like he just didn't want to play in a game without someone he knew also playing in it, and there was no way I was going to drop Guedo79's Planescape game.
