Albany Gameday III (April 2nd) Game Sign ups have started

Got you, Welverin.

I just stopped down at Zombie Planet and talked with George. We are all set for Saturday.

Despite our sad little thread I think we'll do just fine. More people have heard about this gameday, through various threads on different boards and signs I put up, than any of the ones we had.

So we have the participation and just need to work on getting people to stop by the thread?

Truthfully, the thread isn't required. I'm glad we have it because I wouldn't know how to contact you, Atelos, LightPhoenix, and everyone else. Enworld really doesn't have that large of a group of Albany users.

As long as they make it to the gameday to meet new people, play new games, and check out ZP I'm happy.

It looks like rain tomorrow. Everyone drive carefully.

4 AM on Gameday and I am sick, wouldn't you know. I don't think I will be there, and I apologize for those planning to attend my game.

Kevin

Ryan. If you need me to, I can run Retail Zombies. It isn't D&D and I don't exactly consider it finished, but it should be done enough to run.

I would need a couple of things from you, however.
1) Bring your all flesh book
2) to print out my character sheets and the map, if you can. I'll send you over the files and link to the map.

I'll be getting up at 2pm, so let me or lori know somehow (I have a feeling she'll be online). Otherwise, I'll be around with card games.

Ao the Overkitty's All Flesh Must Be Eaten: Retail Zombies - Punch the clock, smile at the customers, upsell the products. Many try, but few have what it takes to face the mall day after day. After a while, your fellow employees and even the customers start to look like mindless zombies. Come and enjoy some comedic horror fun.

I'm up and wake. We'll be making some changes but I'll wait till people get there before I get into them.

Feel better, Kevin. Alex is in for All Flesh.

We may be running a little late but we'll see everyone soon.

Sorry to hear that.

I think I'll bring Settlers of Catan with me. Between that, Retail Zombies or Ao's card games, and the fact that we're meeting at a game store we should be able to find enough to do during the afternoon time slot to keep us occupied.

Thanks to those who participated in the 'playtest' of Retail Zombies. I think I've got a better idea of what I need to do with the game setting and plotwise. Hope you all had fun. I did learn a few things. Like, when adding more characters, add norms, not survivors. 5 survivors seriously overshadows the 3 norms. Still, it looked like most had fun.

Anyway, the fluxx games afterwards were lots of fun and I kept up my usual losing streak.

Thank you, Everyone, for showing up and having a good time.

Even though, it was a roller coaster it just shows that if you get enough gamers in a room games will be played one way or another.
