Albany Gameday VIII - Sept. 22

I'm feeling all kinds of crappy at the moment with the flu but I wanted to post this to at very least show it off. I made another flier which should be up at Zombie Planet by now. They didn't have room at the time but hopefully they found room.

If anyone happens to go by ZP let me know. I don't know when I'll make it there again.

I was there yesterday, and the flyer is up. It's a bit out of the out-of-the-way, back by the Mongoose bookshelf on the general notice board. I think a couple of the phone number tags had been taken as well.

I will attempt to put together something still. If I don't get it done for 9/4/07 then maybe I'll just play.


Due to events out of my control, it appears I will be cancelling my existing game group. I will need occational fixes. Gameday can be one.

Any ideas which games will be when? If you still need DMs then I will try and get a game ready. Any interest in a Piratey game using the new POTSM book (Savage Worlds system).

At the moment, we need one more DM before I figure out the slots. The only game that is set already is Scholar's since he has a wedding that afternoon.

If you want to run something, DW, that would be cool.

I will wait until you find out if DW wants to run, and i don't DM, but if you are strapped i'll bring RoboRally, tOotS game, Mechaton, or 3 Dragon Ante for the last game slot. I'll "run" it as well, if we need a board game to fill that last slot.

Guess this means i'm in.

I would be glad to run Living Greyhawk adventures if there is interest in getting games in to join in the glorious wrapup at the end of the campaign.

If there are any specific requests for adventures, let me know, or I will get some good ones ordered for that date.

4-6 players, one or two slots as people desire. Living Greyhawk characters using standard RPGA rules. I can run most available year 6 and year 7 content by that point.

I was wondering what the update on DMs is. Last I knew we needed 4 more... than just above I read we only need 1 more but I don't see the front post or the AGD webpage updated. Do we still need D&D games or has that Government Quota been met?

I would prefer to just play this time, so if someone else can fill that last needed slot then that is cool with me.

As for how many more DMs are needed, I think he is just saying that he needs one more confirmed DM before he can start figuring what games will happen when (1st or 2nd slot).

I don't know if we'll have enough RPGA people at the gameday. I'll check around to see if we can't get a group of properly registered people together.

At worse, are you willing to run something for a non-RPGA group? I promise not to tell wotc.

Cool. Thanks for the offer. I think I've got enough DMs now. But if you happened to have those games with you it wouldn't hurt to have a back up, just incase something happens.

It will be nice to see a few more "Boston" faces out east.

Well, you've already drank the cool aid. I figure I don't need to convince you to come to the gameday. It's just the players/slackers that I might need to inform.
