Thanks. So that eliminates one possibility.
The difference is, we have all met a Burke. Lots of us have to deal with a middle management Burke in our jobs, or maybe as a customer. But our experience with the Weylands, Zuckerbergs, or [whoever this new guy is] is primarily parasocial.

Based on the trailer there’s more than 1 type of lifeform. I have been pleasantly suprised with the newest alien (except the extended ending) and the newest predator Hulu stuff.

Might be good, might be bad. But it certainly has potential.
Absolute tangent, though: I knew a guy in the late 1980s/early 1990s who had written what we’d now call fanfic with the core premise being the xenomorphs getting loose on Earth. He was absolutely obsessed with it and if he started talking about it, he would. Not. Stop. Until he was finished.
So the existence of this series dredges up some…odd feelings.
