Episode 3, brief thoughts the morning after-
Things I loved-
a. Thematic editing. Yes, I saw what you were doing with the editing - see, e.g., the cuts involving the surgery of Hermit (again with the names). I approve.
b. Timothy Synthophant. Oh, he's bringing it. His character and his motivation has been developing nicely over three episodes so far, and he is chilling.
c. The Lost Boys. They are doing a great job exploring the issues with having kids in adult bodies, and (in one case) the growing realization that they aren't human.
d. Boy Genius. Other than the "prodigy speech," they've done a great job with the show, don't tell, about this character.
e. That Other Ridley Scott Movie. Yep, now that we've got the added complication of Tom Morrow (heh), we've fully set the field to answer the question, "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?"
Things I Am On the Fence About-
Wendy being able to hear the Aliens. We already got this in E2. Now we know in E3. But I've got questions. A lot of questions. Willing to go on the ride for now, but I am definitely ... curious ... to see this play out.
The budding conflict of Not-Wendy and Wendy. Is this a thing, a plot contrivance, or an excuse to learn more about Boy Genius?
