Legend
Let's see. I think I've got everything recorded for all the 5e games I've run. I can tell you about all the PCs I've played, but not necessarily any of the other PCs in those games.

Let's get started with the PCs I've played in 5e so far:
  • Bree Underhill - lightfoot halfling bard / rogue (thief) / sorcerer (wild magic) | Age of Worms 5e campaign
*She started as a D&D Next playtest character, and I retired her when the final 5e rules came out. Don't remember levels.

  • Natalya - half-elf rogue (thief) / ranger (hunter) / monk | Age of Worms 5e campaign
*I was trying to see if I could build something resembling a Diablo 3 demon hunter using the 5e rules; it didn't really work so I gave up on the character pretty quickly. Don't remember levels.

  • Xanthe - half-elf fighter / paladin (ancients) | Age of Worms 5e campaign
*One of my favorites, and not just because she got a moonblade with the vorpal property. She managed to survive to the end of the campaign at level 20 + an epic boon or two.

  • Lord Gareth of House Nandar - Waterdhavian human noble cleric (arcana) / wizard (lore) | Storm King's Thunder campaign, Party A
*The DM had the idea of running several parties through Storm King's Thunder so we could experience all the content. I think Gareth made it to level 8 and participated in the destruction of Chief Guh before we switched to Party B.

  • Sir Gregor the Grim - revenant (human) fighter (champion) | Storm King's Thunder campaign, Party B
*Inspired by GoT's Gregor Clegane; didn't hang around for long.

  • Kethra - half-elf rogue (swashbuckler) / warlock (hexblade) | Storm King's Thunder campaign, Party C
*I got bored of her fairly quickly, as the combo wasn't quite as fun as I thought it would be.

  • Dagna - gold dwarf cleric (forge) / fighter (eldritch knight) | Storm King's Thunder campaign, Party C
*I stuck with Dagna through the rest of SKT and into the DM's follow-up campaign that involved bits of the 4e Scales of War campaign. I soon found that eldritch knight wasn't quite the right choice, so I retired her at a fairly high level.

  • Trogdor - dragonborn barbarian (zealot) | Scales of War campaign
*Named for (and loosely inspired by) Trogdor the Burninator, he was my first single-classed 5e character!

  • Sunny - half-orc monk (sun soul) / cleric (light) | Curse of Strahd campaign

  • Chult - "warforged" fighter 1 / ranger 2 | "Luskan: Descent into Avernus" campaign
*Inspired by Groot. I was going to use the UA "Primeval Guardian" ranger subclass but he died before I could bring it online.

  • Book / Grimoire "Grim" the Gray - "warforged" fighter / wizard (lore) | "Luskan: Descent into Avernus" campaign
*Loosely inspired by RoboCop and Trobriand the Metal Mage, with the idea being he was originally human but built a new body for himself. He changed his name from Book to Grimoire when he was fully inducted into the Arcane Brotherhood.

  • Hannibal - human fighter (battle master) | Eberron: Oracle of War campaign -- my current PC
*A mix of his namesake Hannibal from the A-Team and Sam Vimes from the Ankh Morpork City Watch.

Now onto the campaigns I've DMed. My first campaign was during the playtest period. I ran Legacy of the Crystal Shard. It ended in a near-TPK before we could finish it.
  • fire genasi fighter (battle master)
  • aasimar monk (open hand)
  • fire genasi druid (moon)
  • halfling sorcerer (wild magic)
  • half-elf rogue (arcane trickster)
  • half-elf bard (valor)

For my second campaign, I ran Scourge of the Sword Coast. I bumped the levels up a bit so two of the surviving PCs from the previous campaign could participate. This campaign also had a high attrition rate.
  • human fighter / cleric
  • wood elf ranger
  • half-elf paladin / rogue
  • dragonborn barbarian
  • halfling sorcerer (wild magic)
  • half-elf rogue (arcane trickster)
  • halfling warlock (fiend)
  • eladrin bard

The next few are past campaigns I've run (presented in no particular order):
  • human paladin (vengeance)
  • forest gnome mystic (awakened) / wizard (diviner)
  • human fighter (battle master)
  • human cleric (life)
  • dragonborn paladin (devotion)
  • human rogue (thief)
This campaign ended in a near TPK in the final fight with Strahd. Only the gnome escaped alive, and he ran off to live in the mountains with the crazed mage.
  • moon elf fighter (eldritch knight)
  • human monk / warlock (celestial)
  • halfling bard
  • moon elf wizard (bladesinger)
  • human warlock (Raven Queen)
This campaign fizzled out after the railroady chase sequence. We all hated it and chose not to continue.
  • protector aasimar sorcerer (divine soul) / bard (swords)
  • human fighter (hoplite)
  • human wizard (academy philosopher)
  • tiefling bard (eloquence)
  • Thylean minotaur barbarian (zealot) / fighter (champion)
  • human rogue (Odyssean)
  • "warforged" artificer (armorer)
This campaign fizzled out partway through as it just wasn't doing it for us.
  • halfling ranger
  • kobold rogue / cleric (?)
  • human fighter (champion)
  • forest gnome bard ?
  • forest gnome [reincarnated as a small dragonborn] ?
  • human warlock (hexblade)
This campaign fizzled out partway through, and I don't seem to have kept good records of the PCs' details.
  • moon elf wizard (evoker)
  • human fighter (champion)
  • halfling rogue (thief)
I only had three players and they chose PCs from the pregens. We also had the dwarf cleric pregen as an NPC ally to round out the party. We successfully completed this adventure but didn't continue with the PCs.
  • eladrin wizard (bladesinger)
  • human bard (lore) / rogue
  • half-orc barbarian (zealot) / fighter
  • strongheart halfling monk
  • human cleric of Tempus (war)
  • woof elf druid (moon)
Didn't keep the best records for this one either. We did complete the campaign but it wasn't that fun, so we didn't continue with the Season 2 campaign as I'd originally planned.
  • half-elf ranger (hunter)
  • tabaxi bard (lore)
  • sun elf fighter (eldritch knight)
  • forest gnome [reincarnated as a gold dwarf] cleric of Lliira (life)
  • tiefling rogue (mastermind) - died
  • tiefling sorcerer (dragon) - died
This was one of my most successful D&D campaigns ever.
  • goliath druid (moon)
  • shield dwarf wizard (evoker)
  • human fighter (champion) | human barbarian (berserker)
*killed in battle only to have the spirit of her barbarian ancestor take over her body to continue her mission
  • halfling rogue (swashbuckler) - a variant of the halfling rogue PC from our LMoP game
  • moon elf [reincarnated as a half-elf] rogue (arcane trickster)
Despite its bad rep, I really enjoyed running both Tyranny of Dragons adventures. I'd even consider running them again.
  • high elf fighter (eldritch knight)
  • half-orc barbarian (totem) / rogue (swashbuckler)
  • human bard (lore)
  • mtn dwarf [reincarnated as a half-orc] fighter (champion)
  • human sorcerer (dragon)
  • half-orc [reincarnated as a halfling] cleric of Freya (life) / paladin
  • high elf sorcerer (storm)
  • human rogue (arcane trickster)
This was an episodic campaign that included a mix of 5e adventure content and older adventures that I'd converted to 5e. 'Twas initially a lot of fun but ultimately fizzled out around 9th level when it got too difficult to find interesting adventures to run.
  • human paladin (vengeance) / sorcerer (dragon)
  • half-drow cleric of Eilistraee (life)
  • moon elf rogue (swashbuckler) / fighter (champion)
  • human barbarian (ancestral guardian)
  • moon elf wizard (evoker)
  • eladrin fighter (champion)
  • human sorcerer (dragon) - retired
  • human fighter (champion) - deceased
  • gold dwarf monk (open hand) - retired
  • tortle druid (moon) - missing
  • half-orc fighter (champion) - deceased
  • half-elf wizard (evoker)
  • human fighter (champion) / warlock (celestial) - deceased
  • human fighter (champion) / wizard (abjurer) - deceased
  • wood elf ranger (gloom stalker) / rogue (assassin) - deceased
  • human fighter (champion) - deceased
  • tiefing rogue / warlock (hexblade) - deceased
I was originally going to run them through all the adventures in Tales from the Yawning Portal, but then Tomb of Annihilation came out, and I wanted to run that, and the PCs that finished Forge of Fury were level 5, so I sent them to Chult. Only two of them survived iirc. We had quite a few characters die in this campaign, primarily in Omu, but I also had one player who kept switching characters.

And now for my current campaigns:
  • Noël - protector aasimar sorcerer (divine soul)
  • Za - human rogue (scout) / fighter
  • Keyleth - half-elf fighter (arcane archer)
  • Thia - wood elf cleric of Oghma (knowledge)
  • Ellywick - forest gnome ranger (fey wanderer) - deceased
  • Nyx - forest gnome fighter (battle master) - deceased
  • Korrin - dragonborn ranger (horizon walker) - deceased
Party 1
  • John Vanilla - human fighter (champion) - missing (presumed dead)
  • Jimmy - human rogue (scout) - now a NPC
  • Drogul Stoneshield - gold dwarf cleric of Haela Brightaxe (forge) / paladin (ancients) / bard - missing (presumed dead)
  • Kibble - kobold ranger (?) - player left
  • Trixie - goblin artificer (?) - deceased
  • Galinndan - elf (?) paladin (?) - deceased
Party 2
  • Hisa - half-orc fighter (samurai)
  • Jane Vanilla - human wizard (evoker)
  • Dwarian Stoneshield - gold dwarf barbarian (berserker)
  • Duergal Stoneshield - gold dwarf cleric of Marthammor Duin (forge) / paladin (watchers) / sorcerer (storm)
  • Fizzy - half-elf rogue (swashbuckler) / warlock (hexblade)
  • Ramona - "warforged" ranger (?) / monk (?) - player left
We had a TPK on level 3. Continued with a brand new party. Don't remember some specifics as all players are now using D&D Beyond, and I've stopped keeping separate records on my computer, so when a PC dies and gets dropped from the campaign, I no longer have access to all the details.

Some takeaways:
  • Champion fighters are very popular at my table, as are evoker wizards and hexblade warlocks.
  • Sorcerers have pretty much all been either dragon or divine soul.
  • All druids have been moon druids.

Listing characters I have played, and then below, PCs from the table that I remember:

Fray - high elven sorcerer (1-20th); homemade campaign
Pacik - half-orc wizard (1-9th); homemade campaign
Tankard Brassballs - hill dwarf cleric (1-7th); Chult
Welby Flutepop - halfling bard (1-4th; killed); homemade campaign
Hatch - human fighter (1-12th); homemade campaign
Sveld - wood elf barbarian (4th - 7th; replaced Welby); homemade campaign
Shift - half-elf wizard (1-6th; made from random generation); Lost Mines
Arex Droozinzerest - dark elf rogue (1-6th); homemade campaign
at present: Tar - half-orc fighter (1-2); Candlekeep

As far as PCs I've played with there are sooooo many. Here are a few that I remember:
Tiefling wizard
human fighter
goliath cleric
herengon sorcerer
fire genasi wizard
sea elf druid
shadar-kai bard
tabaxi rogue
tabaxi monk
shifter rogue
shifter cleric
triton druid
yuan-ti rogue/wizard
revenant (homemade translated from 4e) barbarian
bear race (homemade) cleric
centaur ranger
wood elf druid
firbolg ranger
and honestly, that's off the top of my head. I am sure there are a lot more.

As an aside, the above is why I say playing D&D one has to forget about the connection of races to deep lore or xenophobia or really anything else. It is the cantina, and it is good the way it is.

TarionzCousin

Second Most Angelic Devil Ever
I'm running "Planejammer," just had our third full session today. All PC's started at 3rd level.

Giff Kensei Monk
Ratatosk Rogue/Cleric
Blue Kobold Paladin/Warlock/Sorcerer.
Warforged Battlesmith Artificer
Variant Shadar Kai Wild Magic Sorcerer
Githyanki Battle Master Fighter
Half-Elf Druid/Bard

Seven players is a lot. I don't recommend it. o_O
