I was pointing out that WotC isn't doing as well as they'd like getting players to switch. Which is also the only reason to pull older ed PDFs...

Next time don't accuse me of something I didn't do. Got it?

Ahhh...I see. It all comes to the .pdfs and a lack of switching players. Makes sense.

Well, then I will take your word for it. Odd that you decided to be so vague.

I don't think there will be a next time Kask, so no need to worry.

A good way to prevent misunderstandings like this is to make your points clearer. You rarely post in more than one or two cryptic sentences. Your posting style demands that people read context and meaning into it, so I think it's unfair to get upset just because someone failed to read your mind accurately.

and on that note, could the mods be so kind as to move this to the temp WotC PDF forum where it belongs?

Whether or not you put stock in that list, I am happy that it appears that 3e still has a loyal and vibrant following. 4e is my game of choice, but it doesn't have to be everyone's. So the fact there is so much interest can only be a good thing for all of us, right?

Darn right! It's good for the hobby no matter what edition.

And, more money in WotC's pockets from older edition sales* means more money for them to spend developing sweet, sweet 4E material. ;)

*Assuming most people are buyin' 'em new...

Maybe, but as the moderators point out often, when in doubt, give the benefit of the doubt. And that responsibility is on the reader, not the writer.

The last two pages of this thread has been about two pages of argument and snark fest with almost no content.

Clunk.
