Woohoo! I have my safety glasses, gloves and a huge vat of acid sitting right here.

Alrighty time to dip us a TROLL.

No bookstore is going to call you and ask you to return a book after its been sold. I'm sorry, it's not worth the effort. Nor is any true DnD player going to return the book. It's just not going to happen.

Actually it sounds very possible to me. If it was me, I would have also returned the book. Especially if the 10% off was for an entire purchase and not a single item. I always have a list of 10-15 books that I want to own.

I would have dedicated an hour or two reading the parts that most interested me before rushing it back though. The part about not reading all about the bard class is the part that most indicates that it might be untrue... but hey, not everyone has as much free time as I do.

I mean, he's got a point...it is kind of funny to see all the drooling over new books that are going to suck. But don't make it so easy for him, eh?

Wow, it's like....a troll within a troll.....a meta-troll if you will.

Your ment to be honest? Ah thats where I've failed.

Heh. I should check out my local borders and see if it is out there yet...

First of all, I don't know why they called you. I usually decline to give out any personal information for just purchasing a book.

Second, I would not have returned the book. Even if I had caller ID I would have explained that the mistake was not mine, I purchased the book, and am under no obligation to return it.

Third, there's nothing wrong with this approach. It's not against the law. I don't even consider it 'wrong' as there are reviewers and many others who already have the book (cough Eric Noah cough). No offense to any of them, but they shouldn't deserve special treatment. If the book is "out" it's out, regardless of when the "release date" is (over a week from now).

Later.
