I can never find anything in the Dragons Mags unless it's linked to the front cover. THey really needa master index for those things.
Anyway, the reason I ask is to determine the ECL of the templates in ELH. I'm hoping that will gives us a ballpark for the ECL of the epic half dragons.
And these numbers disturb me. If a mindflayer is ecl 18, and a paragon mind flayer is ecl 26, that mean the paragon template is only ecl +8. Sign me up!! That is way to low.
THe Pseudonatural then would have an ecl of +13. Even that seems a little low.

Not a problem. I would like further comments not pertaining to my alt.1/2 dragons to be taken elswhere as well.
Would any Dragonstar players like to see the Space & Star Half-Dragons revised and added to my template?

Another idea, that may lower the ecl is to have tyhe damage dice of the breathe weapon equal 1/2 of the character level. THat way it would scale with power. For the more powerful breathe weapons you can add an extra die or three. This way you can just have the breathe weapon die (d4,d6,d8, etc) used to show who has the more powerful one.
