Alternate Form (Su) - Equipment?

Here is the situation:

I have a dragon cohort (Bronze Wyrmling) that I want traveling with me in Alternate Form as a humanoid. He'll be wearing equipment (clothing, armor, magic items, etc). When he uses his alternate form ability to become a wolf, all that equipment which he can't use as a wolf melds into his form (as per polymorph).

Q 1) What happens if changes from Wolf form back to dragon form?

Q 2) What happens to equipment if he changes directly from human to dragon?

Q 3) What if it were a larger older dragon? If a large size dragon were Alternte Form'ed as a halfling, wearing a chain shirt, then returned to hi large dragon form, what happens?

Bronze dragons do not get alternate form until they are Young. But, to assume it was houseruled or you had a Young dragon:

1 & 2. Actually, I'm not sure that any equipment he wears as a humanoid don't just fall off as a wolf. But, certainly, as he becomes a dragon again: "Any new items you wore in the assumed form and can’t wear in your normal form fall off and land at your feet; any that you could wear in either form or carry in a body part common to both forms at the time of reversion are still held in the same way."

3. It only matters if you can wear the equipment or not.
