This presents a few problems for me the big ones are:
1) The fighter is damn near unkillable first thing in the morning. If he is rested when he turns up to fight the enemy, he will be parrying and disarming all over the place. It is really hard to take out a fighter with 8d10+ of parry up his sleeve, or more useful maneuvers as the situation arises.
2) There is little reason not to spend his bunch of dice early then kind of suck for a while afterwards. Unlike spells, there is pretty much always a good use for a spending a dice. If it means you win the fight nice and easily now, then you saved yourself some hassles later as you fight later enemies at full strength.
3) I think it makes the Fighter much more like some other classes. I rather like the Fighter always being the guy that is ready to go and does not need to rest for the day like other people.
None of these things would break the game, but they are definitely something to consider. It would suit my rock gnome warrior in power armor I used to have quiet well. He was a gadgeteer style guy.
