Alternatives to WotC Minis

Would you buy non-randomized pre-painted plastic miniatures for use with D&D? We're looking to branch into other areas this year and we want to get your thoughts on this.

You might ask Stefan over at Dwarven Forge about this - as I recall he took a bath on his. YMMV of course.

Oh, and as for your question- no, but I am far from a typical consumer in this regard.

I've talked to Stefan about it before. It didn't go well for him, but we have a different approach in mind.
 

Yes - if they looked at least as good as the WotCs and were similarly priced. To reduce the 'rare monsters never get bought' problem, I would totally groove on theme packs - pack of orcs, undead, whatever. Knowing what you are getting would be a huge boon IMO.
