I've actually used Amazon several times for RPG books and had them within a couple days of ordering each time. Same with other books and CDs I've gotten from there.

I seriously ordered the IK Character Primer and Midnight sourcebook on a Monday and got them on Thursday or Friday.

Don't worry, waiting for an online purchase can be frustrating...sometimes a good rant letting off some steam is the best medicine. :)
 

Actually, I am pretty satisfied with 99% of the rpg purchases I have made online - ebay, Amazon, Discount, etc. The only thing I have NOT been satisfied with - and let me reiterate this - is New Wave. I am glad to see it was not just me who they yanked around.
 

Amazon always seems to get their rpg stuff in later than everyone else. That said, whenever I've ordered anything they actually have in stock, it's always arrived promptly.

Okay, I ordered Complete Adventurer.. (preordered it actually since I got a gift certificate for Xmas for Amazon). Today.. I sign on, it's on hold till FEBUARY 25th.. but the page with it on Amazon says it's avaiable for immediate order and delivery.


Whats up wit dat?

God, no! I hate FedEx. They're not as bad as UPS, but those two are the worst shippers I have the misfortune of dealing with.

I have had almost no problems with the USPS (only one significant problem in the last 20 years). Go postal! ;)

Yeah -- the thread title really needs to be changed. I just spent 5 minutes wading through this thread to learn only that KenM pushed the panic button way too early.

That's odd; I got my copy of CAdv from Amazon last week.
