Amalara is happy to announce the addition of an outstanding author to the Land of the Crane team:
A fiction and non-fiction author, Brian Isikoff has written for "One of the Living" (Eden) and the upcoming "QuestWorlds" (Issaries / MDP). A long-term GM, he maintains the House of the Jade Lantern website, co-produces "2d6feet in a random direction", a podcast about gaming, and actively runs convention and private games in the SF Bay area.
Brian is Amalara's resident samurai expert, and is currently authoring Bushido: Samurai Adventure in the Land of the Crane. Bushido will explore the role of the samurai in the Land of the Crane, including the rise in importance of the samurai caste, a gamer-based rendition of the code of bushido, new samurai-related heroic paths, a Narrator’s guide to bushido, and campaign and adventure ideas for running a samurai-themed game.
Amalara is also pleased to announce the addition of campaign-supporting articles to its website. The first article, penned by Brian Isikoff, is entitled “Castle of the Mountain Goblins,” and contains adventure seeds for incorporating the dreaded dai-bakemono into your Land of the Crane campaign. You can find the article at the Amalara website.
