According to the captions on the Flickr pictures the dice are real, and are the only pieces of the dragon aside from the mat that aren't edible.

Most of the time when you get a cake like that you also get a sheet cake to go along with it. Because of the time it takes, the cake gets pretty stale, and fondant isn't that great tasting to begin with...

I wonder if it's got a rice crispy treats inside? Seems like the go to method for sculpting a cake...
