"He just blew up his own men...." She shook her head and looked away from the burning wreckage nearly half a mile away. "We should go meet up with the others over there. I think I saw Felix's armor land just over that hill just a short way from here."

Kitsune just laughed harder and hugged Felix when he glomped onto her.

After a minute or so she calmed down and disengaged, saying, "Lets go find the others. We should get back to the city."

It only takes a minute for the heroes to regather together to decide what next to do. As this is happening the AEGIS Thunderbird VTOL plane appears in the sky heading right for you...

GM: Totally up to you how you want to get back into the city. As mentioned if you 'rest' on the VTOL trip you get back two Fatigue and one Toughness damage. Otherwise if you run/fly/teleport, etc. there you only gain back the one Toughness damage.

Kitsune needs the rest. Won't do anyone any good getting back if she's too tired to do anything!

The Princess boards the Thunderhawk with the rest of the team. She considered flying back to the city but it would do her no good to arrive there alone. And frankly she could use a quick breather. The Brandon part of her marveled at the tech aboard the state-of-the-art VTOL ship, not that any of it made sense to her at the moment.

"Do we have any idea what's happening back in the city? Do we have a plan?" She asks everyone.

As the heroes pile onto the Thunderbird, one of the agents on board yells to Princess Starlight (as the VTOL takes off the rotor wash is very loud) "Nothing yet miss. But we are getting unconfirmed reports of the villain known as Mammoth entering the Human Inc. building. We believe this means that the Destroyers are making an assault on various high security vaults within the building, taking advantage of the fact that the building has been complete evacuated and your team was seen leaving the city followed by a huge explosion less then a minute later..."

GM: Agent's Will save: 1D20+3 = [20]+3 = 23 vs. Princess's Aura, made it

“I am fine, thank you, Princess,” Shadow said. He looked up at the hill she indicated. “Let’s see to everyone else.” He didn’t comment on the men who had died in the explosion. They had made their choice.

They found Felix and Kitsune and Caleb asked, “Is everyone okay? AEGIS is inbound with a flight back to the city. Apparently we were right. Someone was wanting to break into the tech industries and used the robot to take us out of play. But they failed,” he said.

Shadow shielded his eyes as the sound of the VTOL came to them over the clear sky and he spotted the aircraft. It touched down nearby. They boarded and got a sitrep from the agents on board.

“Take us to Human, Inc, then,” Shadow said, buckling into his seat. “Everyone rest up. This isn’t over.”

The VTOL races back into Centropolis and the heroes can see the huge Monolith Building in the distance. Within a few minutes the aircraft comes around the huge Atlas status on the roof of the building. "Where do you want to be put down?"

GM: So depending on where you want to get off. Also everyone can make a Perception roll. The Monolith is a few blocks from where the Doomsday robot attacked but there is still damage in the area around the building...[sblock=Monolith Building and Atlas Statue] [/sblock]
