I am so confused by the pricing on this. If you order the physical books only from DDB, the prices are the opposite of what Amazon is charging. If you buy the digital only version from Beyond, it's $30 for Heroes and $40 for Adventures. Or you can get the digital bundle of the two books for a mere $126.93.

Very interesting, I was expecting Adventures in Faerun to be more expensive, but Heroes of Faerun is $10usd more expensive. Could I be wrong that AiF is the bigger book? Very much looking forward to more details.

We were theorizing that the Setting Guide would be in AiF, but the Amazon description puts the "Setting Guide" in HoF. So that could definitely make it the bigger book if that section runs up the page count. I would assume most of the maps you mentioned in a other post will be illustrating regions in the setting guide.

Looking through it for HoF there are 8 subclasses, 18 backgrounds, 34 feats, 19 spells, 3 magic items, 12 items, 2 Monsters, and 13 maps, 42 Gods with Renown & 8 Factions. This is just for HoF. The ultimate bundle it grows to 8 species (I'm guessing from one of the 3 DLCs), 70+ maps, 60+ monsters, 50+ feats, still 19 spells, 20+ Magic Items and 15+ items.

The 2 monsters will likely be for familiars, with one being the tressym.
