HellHound
ENnies winner and NOT Scrappy Doo
So.
Quick update:
Denise broke her foot. She can't walk on it, can't work, and is quite incapacitated by this since we live in a SMALL two story house with stairs to get in to the house. It's damn near impossible to move around here with crutches.
She's also our sole income provider. She can't work with a broken foot. No income.
Hound is suddenly looking for work again instead of working on publishing.
So... somewhere between working on keeping the house together (failing), keeping up on the laundries (failing), pampering Denise (failing), keeping the kids together with regards to school (succeeding!), suddenly being in charge of our pets, including the constant monitored medication of our ginger tom cat who is quite ill also, looking for work and so on... instead of coming here to post, I desperately spend 10 to 15 minutes a day trying to get The Kid's Colouring Book o Critters finished, which unfortunately has become a monumental task.
The kid's book SHOULD take about 40 hours of work to finish from where it was two weeks ago. That's pretty normal for an Ambient Inc. product - just have to do layout, final editing and some finishing touches... But normally I can dedicate 8 hours a day to the job, not 15 minutes.
15 minutes.
Well crap. I've just wasted todays 15 minutes of book editing time. Have to go finish getting the kids ready for school, then come home and help Denise get herself together, then it's off to mail off the checks for the contributors on our last two projects....
I'll see you folk in the new year.

As a total aside, the print edition of Thee Compleat Librum ov Gar'Udok's Necromantic Artes is coming out in the new year.
Joe G Kushner once said "And what do you want for Christmas Bobby?" "My own undead legion hand picked from the Necromancer."...
Well. At the kids' christmas concert last ngiht, the Sr Kindergarden class did none other than... a Christmas Zombie act! All the kids were dressed up as Christmas Zombies! I damn near peed myself.
Sometimes truth is stranger than... Gar'Udok - necromantic high priest of the undead.
