(( Sorry for the long delay. Work has been BUSY this past week. ))

The trail of blood leads down to the warehouses along the lower tier road. You are unable to pick out an individual warehouse where your quarry fled to unfortunately. There is a good bit of activity down here with loud voiced men and women hauling stuff from place to place. Unlike most cities, the beasts of burden here are people. There are no horses, oxen, or mules pulling about carts or wagons.

Ezieer continues to sniff around until a breakthru comes to light (either from his or the weasel's efforts). If he gets thru the warehouses and comes up with nothing. He may consider breaking into a likely one... after he has discussed it with the others.

Working together, Ezieer and Ghost find the fleeing attacker. He had been hiding in an alley until he felt the coast was clear then crossed the street to enter the front door of one of the warehouses. Ezieer spots him just as he is entering the warehouse. There are no guards outside. As Ezieer is standing in the shadows of another alley deciding what to do he hears a quiet voice behind him, "I wouldn't..."

Ezieer is fairly certain that he hasn't been followed and more certain that the alley was empty when he entered it.

"I wouldn't... go inta tha warehouse by my lonesome or at all?... he whispers questioningly

He tries to remember if he's heard this voice. He's hoping it is their helpful 'Stalker' but in case it isn't... he doesn't want to give away information that he has other 'friends' in this town.

"Should I call yer a stranger or a friend... or yar would prefer to be called something else?"

The man is obviously very close to Ezieer's back and speaking in a quiet and calm voice.

"We haven't met and I don't think that there are many friends to be found anywhere in this town. Your first guess was best. The crew of your ship are in that building along with your new playmate."

Ezieer has never heard this voice before to his recollection.
