Ambushed!

"Well that tis comfortin' to be knowing... is why you want me to be knowing dat a secret? I would guess that you know I means to break em outa there... and dat someone's reputation may suffer should that come to pass. If not then you should be tellin me how yer interests be served... so I try to serve em."

Ezieer doesn't bother searching for him... he knows he would have been attacked already if that was going to be the case.

"Anything else you think I should be knowing... "

 

[DMEntropy]

"You seem to have a good eye for situations. Someone will indeed lose reputation if his mysterious prize were to disappear. That may halt whatever plans he has for that prize and the reputation it has gained him. I would like to see that happen. How will you leave the harbor?"

 

[Ezieer]

"The only way I know how... retakin da Avonia and sail outa here. The only problem... besides taking on the mercenaries o' da Iron Claw on da ship will be not gettin pummeled by the Duke's tower defenses. I think making a deal would solve that.. however aint sure how wise of a manuver t'would be to make such a deal... I really don't have anything other than Yalgad's embarrassment ta offer da Duke."

Ezieer thinks of one last thing.

"And then there is stopping Yalgad from catching us with the Beauty... I wasn't there but the Beauty's obviously caught the Avonia before."

"I aint too prideful to be turning down good advice..."

 

[DMEntropy]

"Yes, well, deals are interesting. You really don't know what kind of deal you have until it is made and completed, do you?"

There is a long pause and the voice continues...

"Better figure something out soon. There are three people in his manor house as well that are likely important to your plans. I can get them out in two nights. You should be ready to do something then if you want to achieve all of your goals."

 

[Ezieer]

"So yer saying to me that yer are goin ta get the remainder o' the ships complement... Lady Karnom & most likely two high ranking members o' the crew out o' the manor fer us. So I'll need to be up and done wid my business and meeting you when and by what time two nights from now? Midnight... morning or sometime in between?"

He thinks about how much time he has to work with.

"That means I need to free the crew out tonite without anybody knowin it and deal with the Iron Claw on da ship tomorrow and talk to the Duke in between.

 

[DMEntropy]

"You won't get anything that big done in secret in this town. Tongues wag faster than a happy cur's tail around here. Two nights, sunset. That will let you sail out with enough light to navigate by and then hit open water at dark. After that, your fate is yours. We both have something to gain here so no debts are involved."

Ezieer no longer 'feels' the presence of the stranger behind him and turns just in time to see him exit the alley around another corner.

 

[Ezieer]

"Aha... I seem to have been givin a royal decree... things are lookin up."

Ezieer suddenly thinks he may have been very fortunate from this strangers help then he did at first. He's of the opinion that he was just talking to the Duke himself.

"Now to find the others and fill them in." he thinks to himself.

Ezieer will find the others (and fill them in).

OOC: So I forget what time of day it is right now. I feel we have ~48 hours or so.

2 Nights & Sunset thinking its the afternoon now.

(( It is early afternoon. Two sunsets will be in approximately 30 hours. ))

Ezieer finds the remainder of the group without much difficulty.

Ezieer will propose that they visit "The Temple of Waves" and thru some 'cleverly directed' donations recieve cures for their injured. (I feel that Ezieer is one of them...).
