For a place like Sigil, five pages is rather light. MotP described the various wards and a handful of noteworthy personalities.

Yeah 5 pages is very for a place like Sigil. Im really hoping that we see some serious page space dedicated to it in DMG2 (hopefully along with some key personalities stated out...excluding the Lady of course).

Well if it is the same size as DMG 1, it will get around 20 pages. But, I suspect it will have more given that it was singled out so there will probably be a focus on it.

DMG 1 had to give a large amount of space to explaining how to DM, how the rules work, and a bunch of other info that, while valuable, isn't something that will need to be repeated. There will be a lot of open page space that can be filled with sigil town info.

If I remember correctly, Fallcrest was also explicitely mentioned in blurbs on the first DMG. I don't think that is a good indicator for a bigger size.

But, seeing as how Sigil is much, much larger than Fallcrest, and one of the most famous of all cities out of any setting or edition, one can hope that they will dedicate a sizeable portion of the book to it (hopefully at least a complete chapter).

Only thing that concerns me is that this would seem to put a nail into the coffin for the 4th Ed Planescape setting like I was hoping for...you'd figure if there was gonna be one Sigil would be featured in the Planescape Campaign Guide or whatever it would be called.

Who knows.

Seems to me like they're making core paragon level dnd into 4e Planescape, at least if the dm wants to go that way.

On the other hand, if everyone who's got DMG2 is familiar with Sigil as a planar city and a crossroads, it might be easier to sell them a setting focusing on planar adventures using Sigil as the "home base". We'll see!

Yeah, yeah, Sigil is great, but can't we talk about all those new epic monsters? I really dug the astral warwings, especially those that could destroy zones and conjurations. Makes it hard on wizards, artificers, and strangely, clerics.
