What does/will the OGC declaration look like?

Exact specifications are not yet decided, but concepts and text originating in BESM Tri-Stat will remain closed to protect our Tri-Stat property.

Naturally, we have rules for animal sidekicks. And pet monsters as well!

Ah, good. :D
And that includes rules for them turning into spaceships, yeah?;)

I don't know why I never thought of it, but I am going to try to get a cabbit familiar with my next wizard character.

Oh, and I am buying BESMD20 as soon as I can, naturally.

I think this is brilliant, and I can hardly wait to get it.

This is what WoTC should have done with d20 Modern. Those guys at GoO are sharp!!!

Please, reconsider this :(

Remember that the OGC content can only be used within OGL product, which can't mention compatibility with BESM tri-stat, and that you still keep your copyright on any text.

IMHO, d20 rules content should always be open, especially considering how publisher are fair in their use of OGC from other company (they ask first, wait 3 month after the release of the book, etc...).

i.e. if a publisher wants to publish a tri-stat compatible book:
-without the OGL the rules can't be copyrighted, but the text is, so he can't do it.
-with the OGL he can't mention compatibility with BESM without your authorization, so he can't do it either.

or I haven't understood your concern
