Analyze Dweomer has the following sentence:

In the case of an object or creature with active spells cast upon it, you learn each spell, its effect, and its caster level.

If a creature has Spell Immunity, can you find out what spells were selected for immunity? If a creature has Resist Energy, can you determine which type of energy?

In other words, are those the "effects" or is a basic description of the spell it's effects?

That would be the spell's effect and you would learn this information.

A spell effect has to be determined by the caster when he/she/it completes the spell. This implies the effect has become an inherent part of the spell, and is thus detectable. The spell effect for Resist Energy (fire) would be fire resistance, etc.

If a creature is under the influence of a Suggestion spell, would the caster of an Analyze Dweomer know what the wording of the suggestion was?

Whoever it was who cast the spell did the charming. It is not something you get to choose when you cast the spell. Nor can Analyze Dweomer tell you who cast it.

That was the question. I think that the effect of charm person could be construed to include the "you" from the spell description. For example, if the caster or one of his allies is attacking the soon-to-be-charmed person, that gives a bonus; is this an effect of the spell or not?
