And another one bites the dust

Sure there is - but it stands for Miscellaneous.

Me - I figure that if the music needs video to make it good, I probably don't want to deal with it, so I stick to the radio.
There is music on the radio? I thought it was all shock jock wannabes and commercials. :p

Not any longer.
Ipods/MP3 players are killing morning radio a little at a time.
In the past year, 3 local stations have dumped almost all of the on-air talent and are playing music (and commercials) all the time.

I feel a little sorry for the DJ's, but I would rather hear music over Howard Stern.

Atlanta has one station that plays mostly music. The biggest Top 40 station is the mostly commercials. Their morning show may play one song a hour, 30 mins of commercials and the rest is inane chatter. I've started listening to public radio more. It's mostly talk but at least it's informative.

I get Music Choice on my digital cable, which makes nice background music (I like to listen to it while I paint minis, for example).

So do I. I usually listen to Rock or Arena Rock most of the time. Sometimes Hit List.

MTV sucks. When they *do* show videos, it's mostly hip-hop and censored gangsta rap. Once in awhile I do tune into FUSE for music. They play more "new music" than some radio stations who claim the same thing...

I think MTV needs to rename itself into Sucky Reality Shows TV.

Anyway, if you have Dish Network, shouldn't get you Sirius Radio on it? That should have more than enough music for you. No videos, but music videos hit its peak artistically in the early-mid 80s. So it's not any great loss, IMHO.

Yep.

But I can listen to the radio while on my computer. In bed. The Kitchen. In the Car. Anywhere.

The only place I can listen & see music vidoes (or concerts, performances, etc) is via the Television (Sometimes my rural high-speed can stream video, usually not).

I just think it sucks I have 10 slots dedicated to Music on my system & most of the channels that were given that real estate refuse to play any music.

Or if Viacom ran a restaurant:

"Hello. Welcome to House of Pizza. Nothing but Pizza. All Pizza, all the time. May I take your order?"

"I'd like a Pizza."

"Sorry we don't serve Pizza here. We do have some moldy cardboard."

Well, you could record the music, then buy a 360 or or PS3, then play back the music on that, and watch the music visualizer.

DirecTV actually has their own music channel. Mostly music. They have free concerts (which they show over and over) and then they have this silly thing where they play music videos while people chat on air. Doesn't Dish have something like that?

And there are stores like that. Radio shack, for instance, doesn't carry all that many radios. And just the other day I went into Catridge World, only to discover they didn't carry any bullets at all. I was really disappointed.
