Since they sell, there must be a lot of fans. Good for all. I'd like to see alternate representations of drow, not just the same retread.

I love the Drow in my world. You never know how the will react and they are not all pure evil, attack at first sight and Always worshipping spider elves.
There are several Drow cities, each with there own flavor. Just like Humans, elves and all the other races.

But I agree about milking the Drow Cow. Geesh I am tired of the one good Drow driven from them and the inanely evil morons who can't even tie there own shoelaces

I HATE that Drow Cow.

It chased me for about five miles and then finally shot me with its hoof crossbow. I failed my poison save and turned into cow-drider!

NAY! It will never end! Never end, I say! More Drow, More Dark Elves, More Underdark! BWA-HAHAHAHAH!

Drow Lunchboxes, Drow T-Shirts, Drow Underoos, Drow Coffee Cups, Drow License Plates! More, More, More, MORE DROW!!!

If you have too many drow PCs and NPCs they become stale, chlichéd and boring as a whole.
I'm not so sure about that. In one of my previous campaigns (2e), the party was almost entirely goodly aligned underdark folks running on the surface. 4 drow, 2 svirfniblin (sp) and 2 duegar...plus 3 surface folks (yes, I know, a very large party). We developed our characters w/o telling the others what we were doing. It was quite fun, especially all the role-playing we had to do when villages wanted to burn us all at the stake.

no way..i attempt to disbelieve that there exit 4 goodly aligned drow and 2 druegar who know each other...make it stop..

In my 1e to 3e campaign two evil surface elves joined with two outcast drow, one evil and one who started as a good ranger but was seduced to evil by the party, rejected and cursed by his god for his profane actions and is now chaotic with very evil tendencies.

Go evil elves!
