And the rest is silence.

I don't understand fully all the 'flaming attitude'. Why apparently normal and nice people becomes flaming jerks when in an internet forum?

Salutations,

The anonymous nature of the internet allows people to find a lot of bravado.

On Topic-

Michael Morris: When a setting fails to garner sufficient support for the effort put into them, they die.

I am not sure what kind of support you are expecting, but I have trouble believing many online settings get much notice/support. The "dead" settings (Planescape, Dark Sun, etc) probably have the die hards attached to them, but I doubt their numbers are that high.

I have looked through Dusk once or twice, but (as with others) invest enough time into my own campeign- and am not interested in supporting someone else's campeign.

If you want to stretch your creative muscles and be recognized, then why not make submissions to d20 companies? It may find you more satisfaction in the long run.

Good luck.

That's the lamest excuse for a lame attitude :)

Seriously, a guy (or gal) that profits on the anonymous nature of internet to make flames and threats is either a child (or teen) or a inmature. And not, I'm not going to say 'IMHO' about the statement I've done. Anonymous bad attitude isn't 'macho', it's stupid.

Hey, people are only human.

That is what I mean. The guy in the other side of the message board is human too (well, according to some internet theories it could be a dog, but let's suppose it's human), so he/she/it deserves being treated like that...

Yeah, but some are more human than others.

So said a some famous dictators before a 'ethnical cleaning' operation... :)

Don't take that route, even joking, it goes too fast umpleasant.

That thought could also be traced back to the book Animal Farm, and the line "All animals are created equal. Some more than others."

Yes, it reminded me that. And that doesn't change my mind. It's a dangerous assertion, even joking.

Well, maybe I'm a bit oversensitive here, but it's just I don't like internet flaming. Not at all. I hate all the 'as nobody there knows me, I can be rude, I can be bad'.

I think saying a line of text is "dangerous" is a bit... oversensative.

I didn't say the 'line of text' was dangerous, I said the 'idea' is dangerous. Not dangerous as in 'deadly dangerous' but as in 'can generate a flame'...

BTW, what does 'oversensative' means? :p
