Background
Andelais born just before the Divine war to a well-to-do elven family which resided in the Hornsaw forest. During the divine war, his family fled after his father was killed in a savage battle with one of the Hornsaw unicorns. Andelais, who witnessed this event, has had nightmares of his father's death and of the unicorns ever since. He fled with his mother and other family members to the Gangus forest, and were granted refuge there.
The terrible events of his childhood have helped define many aspects of Andelais' calling. He is a sworn follower of Denev, a enemy of all titanspawn, and a blood enemy of the savage Hornsaw Unicorns, who killed his father. Andelais has grown up dreaming of an opportunity of avenge his father by slaying one himself To that end, he hopes one day to join the ranks of the Renewer's, a band of warriors devoted to fighting the hornsaw unicorns.
It is Andelais' passion for Denev which led him to become one of her Druids. Having grown up in the Gangus forest, Andelais has always felt at home in the forest and has spent his live learning to protect it and understand it. However, with all his love of the Gangus, he longs to see the broadreach forest cleansed of its evil inhabitents and restored to its former glory.
