Dungeon #15.

Nosir! AC9 was printed in 1986. maybe the gray philosopher was in a module, as many of the AC9 critters were, or perhaps it was created new for the compilation.

Bleh, the problem with most "one-print wonders" is that they tend to be somewhat lame; if they were cool, they'd have been reprinted sometime in the game's thirty-year history (though if they're more recent, that's less true).

not at all true. :) see Shade's, Echohawk's, and Demiurge's lists for examples to the contrary. I've been scrolling through our CC for some of my own to choose, and I'm having a hard time narrowing it down!

so, try again - this time with feeling!

Since most of mine got shut down, what about the Firelich (Spelljammer MC I, IIRC), or the Juniper (Immortals boxed set for Original D&D)?

see, that's much better. ;) the juniper is nice and weird!

Oh let me kvetch a little; all of my entries got shot down! :p

I initially thought it was too weird, hence why I passed it over. I should have listened to that quiet little nagging doubt. :o

Wow! No one commented on mine. Are all of mine one-hit wonders? I'm pretty sure the Dragon Magazine ones are, but not to sure of the Monitor...

And Sapromnemes [Fungal Ghosts] (Dragon 267) are awesome!!!!!!!

fear not gothenem - when i figure we've got enough "candidates" they're going into a poll, and the most popular choices are the ones we're actually going to use. :)

though, you might want to do your picks a favor by providing a summary of each, as some of the other posters have done for theirs.
