What pbp game would you prefer?

Okay, this is much more of a wondering than immediate new game. But I would like to know how others feel about it...

So, I recently began "22nd Century Oddyssey to Hell", a d20 Future game that requires much work on my part, but that is also much fun. And for that reason, I have been toying with other similar ideas in my head.

That is, all are going to be based on the same principle: a new account with a thumbnail provided by me for the players' character; then photos from movies to illustrate the game and provide an ambiance. Currently I have 3 ideas of such games, and would like to know who would be interested in them. However, I don't begin any of them soon, and only one, not before December.

1) Darktower / Grim Tales
Have read Stephen King series? You guys have been transported from quiet 20th century US to a dark Old West where your gun will protect you not from Indians, but from spellcasting witches and mutants.

2) Back to Tatooine / d20 Star-Wars
Space adventurers and other blasters for hire on the lookout for easy money. Most of the action on Tatooine, but some trips to Coruscant and inside an imperial Battle Cruiser (Galaxy's Largest Dungeon...).

3) Crounching Ghosts & Hidden Demons / D&D 3.5 plus Oriental Adventures.
You are flying Taoist ghost-hunters with magic swords, fighting hopping vampires. If you get the old master's manuscript, you will learn incredible Kung-Fu stances that will make you the undisputed master of all China.

While I do not have the Grim Tales rules, any game that is like the Gunslinger novels gets my vote...I am relistening to them now on audio books, and falling in love with them for the second time..*L*

You could create your character with d20 Modern rules (it's compatible). But there are specific insanity and spellcasting rules from GT.

I must admit I would also favor this idea, but must re-read Darktower first (plus gather all manner of photos from my DVDs, and probably buy a couple more...).

I would be very interested in getting in on a Dark Tower-esque game.

I don't have Grim Tales, either, but if it's d20 Modern compatible, that I can deal with.

Turanil, I voted for Star Wars. :) Thanks for replying to the email, I’ll reply in full tonight but I’m still interested… I think 8 works better than 6 but I really need to look at the rules tonight when I get home. :D

I am in the D20 Modern book-only boat as well, but would be willing to look into getting Grim Tales. I am currently reading the first novel of this series, and am familiar with much of Stephen King's other work.

Hey! I got this a moderator bump so people could vote on the Star Wars game!!!

Geez... What's wrong with you people. ;) :p

I’m obviously just kidding. :D

I will probably run both Darktower and Star-Wars (although maybe not at the same time). In fact, Darktower will certainly be more difficult (I have to find photos of mutants, undead, and what not to put in a old-west world), and I want it Grim Tales, so I will provide with a document where character class generation is summarized.

But don't forget: not before December... (and maybe later, since not both games at the same time).
