Okay, this is much more of a wondering than immediate new game. But I would like to know how others feel about it...
So, I recently began "22nd Century Oddyssey to Hell", a d20 Future game that requires much work on my part, but that is also much fun. And for that reason, I have been toying with other similar ideas in my head.
That is, all are going to be based on the same principle: a new account with a thumbnail provided by me for the players' character; then photos from movies to illustrate the game and provide an ambiance. Currently I have 3 ideas of such games, and would like to know who would be interested in them. However, I don't begin any of them soon, and only one, not before December.
1) Darktower / Grim Tales
Have read Stephen King series? You guys have been transported from quiet 20th century US to a dark Old West where your gun will protect you not from Indians, but from spellcasting witches and mutants.
2) Back to Tatooine / d20 Star-Wars
Space adventurers and other blasters for hire on the lookout for easy money. Most of the action on Tatooine, but some trips to Coruscant and inside an imperial Battle Cruiser (Galaxy's Largest Dungeon...).
3) Crounching Ghosts & Hidden Demons / D&D 3.5 plus Oriental Adventures.
You are flying Taoist ghost-hunters with magic swords, fighting hopping vampires. If you get the old master's manuscript, you will learn incredible Kung-Fu stances that will make you the undisputed master of all China.
