Another NC Gameday?

Is there any chance that someone could run a COC game in a small, dark room? Just a thought...

Rowr! I can go for some of that. ;)
I think the deal was with someone else there (I'm sorry I can't recall your name right now) was for a Call of Cthulhu in exchange for a Shadowrun?

I'm all for some CoC in a small, dark room.... :D

I think you're treading a little close to the line where the grandma's get uncomfortable with that one, Shem. ;)

I'm afraid that, unless you guys want to play in the bathroom, that your dreams of a "small, dark room" may have to wait a while. Maybe once you sit down at the table, we could throw a dark, wool blanket over the whole thing.

If folks want to start tossing out ideas for what games they want to run and play in, it's fine by me. But I was going to wait a bit before launching the "official planning thread", maybe November sometime. If we do it any sooner, I'm afraid we'll wind up having to bump the thread a lot for the next 5 months.

I think that was Eric. I don't think he's a board member, but maybe he lurks here.

I would not mind playtesting my new campaign world. I want to run some pre-history stuff about the founding of the world. Of course, it would be low tech, but it could be fun.

I would love to play in a Modern or any DnD non-living game, but that it just me. :D

Well, the women's bathroom on the 4th floor was very vacant. And surprisingly clean. ;)

Yeah, that was Eric. I don't think he lurks here, but I'll let him know the next time I see him. If I can dig up the e-mail address I'll send him this URL. As for the games, yeah I'm interested in running one, but NCGDIII seems so far in the furture that I'll have to think about it for a while before posting. I agree with Rel that November is a great time to get started.

Nope -- but i've got my eye on it, too :). Considering the Phantasy Workshop seems to have closed down without explanation in the past couple months, I'm wondering whether it's run by the same guy. I kinda hope not: his stock of RPGs was pretty unimpressive.

Daniel,

I just got back from my vacation in Atlantic Beach and I was thinking about heading down to Sword & Grail tomorrow. Do you know if they've opened yet? If you've been by, what's your take on the place? I agree that Phantasy Workshop seemed like a bust, if it is the same guy running this new place I'd rather not waste my time.

Just as well - I just got sideswiped by trouble at work (namely my project getting canceled and hence my *job* getting canceled), so I'm going to be quite distracted, no time to work on setting up my game right now. *args*

The extra time is *useful* at least. *wry look*
