Another Tasked Genie Conversion: The Warmonger

Very possible, but I would put my money on the Phonecians though. They had the sailing expertise to get across the Atlantic, while the Egyptians had the money, maps, and goods. I think it was a partnership.

Another theory is that both civilizations were in regular contact pre flood/cataclysm, and the civilizations forgot about each other, except for the legends passed down to later generations.

Also very likely. A norweigan scientist called Thor Heyredal (or some such), even proved it is quite possible to cross the atlantic in a reed raft... Makes one think. Not to mention the fact that pyramids can be found in both south america, northern africa and in southern and south eastern asia.

Later,

There's a very fascinating museum in Oslo about him and his travels. It was a bit of an accomplisment, since alot of people argued that you couldn't cross the Atlantic in a reed raft, Thor Heyerdahl just went and did it instead of arguing. Kewl guy, in my opinion (even if he is norwegian).
