Another Youtube review of MTOF

From the podcast it sounds like none drow elves ate the 4e Devas and Drow has souls like 3e Shadar Kai. This is all kinds of bad, someone will have fix it eventually.

I finally figured out deity 29 is Elebrin Liothiel is the elven god of orchards, gardens and the harvest. He is depicted as a young male elf dressed in a tunic and breeches in muted shades of gold and a cloak in the color of green spring leaves. His symbol is a chestnut on top of a leaf.[1] Liothiel's clerics tend to the communal gardens and orchards of elven settlements while learning to harmonize with nature rather than dominating over it. His shrines are often built on simple platforms upon tall trees or sometimes domed buildings made of saelas

At this point, I've come to the conclusion that squinting over small print in the videos is counter-productive, and will just wait until late tomorrow night or early Friday morning when it launches on D&D Beyond, so I can read it at my leisure (and we'll all be able to answer questions for those who don't have it by that point). Just waiting 24 hours or so will do my eyesight a lot of good, as will not worrying about what may or may not be actually in the book from hearsay sources! :D

I have asked the question to someone who has the book (another thread on this very forum: http://www.enworld.org/forum/showth...f-Foes-is-Live-will-also-answer-any-questions), and he confirmed that 1) elves reincarnate 2)elves who disappoint the Seldarine are destroyed after their death 3) the drow are destroyed a priori. They only have a chance at not being destroyed if they convert to the Seldarine or if they are followers of Eilistraee. WTF??

WTF, so evil Drow have been retconned into being soulless effectively, who thought that was a good idea?

What about Drow and Elves who worship gods like Moradin, Sune, Cyric, Shar, ect..., not all Elves are locked to the Seldarine .
This is going to be a huge mess future devs are going to have to fix.

No, evil drow are not soulless. Their souls are no more upon death.

Nah, they'll just retcon it again. Because, as they like to say: "story first" ;P
