I'm having and have always had a hard time finding other gamers in the cape cod and southern mass area. Maybe I'm just a jerk or something. But since I've had limited success with the players looking for players areas on message boards I thought I'd post here and see if any of you has had similar difficulties.
Would anyone like to see some kind of player registry, you guys think that might make it easier?

I've heard that, as a matter of fact one of the guys i play with on weekends lives there.

I think the community is not as strong in that area. I only know a few gamers on the cape, and they commute quite a distance to their game. Makes sense, really, as the demographics on the cape are heavily weighted towards retirees and the uber-rich. Keep looking, and posting on the "gamers seeking gamers" thread. You'll find something.

You may also want to try local colleges, bookstores and such. There might be people out there who want to try gaming, but have never had the chance. There's a lot of resurgent interest in fantasy, following on LOTR.
