Any campaign ideas for rebellion era?(SW)

Unfortunately, no. I am currently working on a "refit" of starwars, but actually, I have no idea what to play when I am fineshed with it. So, it will just become an academic lesson in D20 Mechanics... :)

If you haven't gotten the sourcebook yet...

I can't recommend Rebellion Era highly enough. It has a campaign built in it. Starts at page 1(more or less) and carries the players through out the game.

Another good source of ideas is at www.swrpgnetwork.com Moridan runs a super cool site. Great reference material there as well.

But consider setting your group up to be the people who first stole the data for the first Death Star. Free agents or merchants who needed to pay off some debts. They get drawn into the story only to be the ones who actually take the plans. And it all snow balls down from there.

But do pick up RE if you have not. It'll get your juices going, guaranteed.

I thought the people who stole the Death Star plans was already known (the guy in the first Dark Forces games...)?

Anyway, for the original SW RPG, West End Games put out several campaign styles books.

One on pirates (or privateers). One on running a tramp freighter. One on being a scout (like in finding new planets and exploring them). One on being special forces. One on being bounty hunters.
There was one when the PCs were the crew of a Corellian Corvette, chasing down a Moff. It ended up on a world with a kind of magic. (The Darkstryder campaign). It also had a world not unlike that of Flash Gordon, or at least the 30s serials.

I had a campaign where the PCs were mercenaries, fighter pilots primarily (sort of like Rogue Squadron, only more neutral). Also one where they were a spaceship rescue crew (like the Sector General series).

You can pretty much do anything in the Star Wars universe.

I think this options are obvious. The problem is - where is the story? There need to be some ideas for NPCs, ideas for conflicts which have more sense than a standard dungeon adventure...

Hmm. Perhaps, if I ever find a good idea, I will set in the Thrawn Time. I loved the books, the setting, the characters. Much more than anything before or thereafter...

NPC in Star Wars can be as simple as the Hutt Crimelord, The Rebel Agent or the Imperial Moff. As for the story they can be hired by the Hutt Crimelord to transport some items for the Rebel Agent and get caught by the Imperial Moff. ;)
