City Slicker from Races of Destiny adds Gather Information, Knowledge Local and another one.
yes, this is an important distinction.irdeggman said:Able Learner does not make a skill a class skill.
It makes each skill only cost 1 sp. The rules on max ranks for cross class skills still appy.

What are you trying to accomplish via this?
Meet prerequisites for a Prestige Class quicker?
Get more bang for the buck on skills (i.e., get more ranks per level)?
Knowing what you are attempting to accomplish will help in figuring out how to better get there, IMO.
Able Learner would work if the skills are class skills for at least one of your classes. That way, maximum skill ranks are still capped at Character Level +3, but each rank only costs 1 skill point regardless of the class you are currently taking a level in. Otherwise, one good way to get Jump as a class skill is to take Martial Study for a Tiger Claw maneuver.RigaMortus2 said:I am trying to make buying ranks in certain skills cheaper (specifically Jump), and to be able to do so at a max skill ranks (lvl +3). I plan on taking classes that do not have certain skills on their list, so I want to be able to buy those skills w/o having to sink 2 skill points per rank.

Actually, that feat is a sidebar in the book and works just fine in a normal game. I see nothing in the book that indicates that it is only for that variant skill system.Delta said:Only within the context of "Variant: Maximum Ranks, Limited Choices".
