Any good PC RPGs on the horizon?

Alien vs. Predator as an rpg? How's that panning out?

I thought the one from Obsidian was just Aliens, not Alien vs Predator?

Hellgate:London is a quasi MMORPG. It's sort of like Diablo, but if you want to play it online, it has a monthly fee. (or at least, it has an optional monthly fee for something).

Two Worlds is a European Elder Scrolls clone (like the Gothic series).

I pray that Mass Effect followsthe Bioware tried and true model of coming out for PC after being released on Xbox... That game just sounds too cool not to get to play it someday (no Xbox or Xbox 306s for me...).

It pains me to see that Bioware is getting into the MMO market, though I suppose I cannot begrudge them the easy money (and since we're talking Bioware here, I'm guessing it will be a solid enough product to compete with WoW).

So basically, it's Dragon Age or bust (since I'm not interested in MMOs)? Yikes. I can't remember the last time the CRPG picture was this bleak.

NWN2 was just released 4 months ago. There's scads of play left in that and XPs et al + community mods on the way.

For that matter, Jade Empire for the PC got released last week.

Dragon Age in the offing.
New Oblivion XP in the offing.

We just went through Dungeon Siege plus XP last year...not to mention D&D Online. Plenty of play left in those if that's to your taste.

And obviously, Diablo 3 is coming - though probably not till 2008.

If you are going to cut yourself off of MMOs and shrivel up your nose at the 360, you may be cutting yourself out of a lot of gaming goodness.

Sorry - $$ talk louder than anything else with Devs and publishers and there is not much piracy in consoles and ZERO in MMOs.. That's just the way it is.

Could not tell you. But as there is a AvP movie in the works, my impression was that Predator is making itself felt in that title as well. I could be wrong. We'll get a chance to see
