Any good Scifi+cyberpunk rpgs?

Everything I've read about Transhuman Space has been great, personally I boycott all Powered By GURPS games for another reason, so i don't own it, but the same commentary definitely makes it sound... well... transhuman / post-cyberpunk.

*Sniff.* So you haven't even enjoyed all of the effort I put into Hellboy?

CP and SF

well lets get some groundwork down

What overall system
I prefer Hero for many things
and slowly getting back into d20 (Versions)

So what is your fave system

any books or comics or movies that are inspirational for what you want to game in
that is always a good place to start....

I dont think there is anything you exactly want
Because I am also looking for those sorts and mostly work on my own stuff...

Fading Suns as a setting I like but the victory points and some of the combat rules I did not like. I am not sure about D20 rules, heard some mixed reviews about that.

That might very well be. I was mostly wondering because of Mekton Zeta, which clearly is not Fuzion, that he maybe mixed something up there. :)

Bye
Thanee

Could be. Maybe i misread it, too. Its all good. :)

I have the D20 version (got it super cheap in a clearance bin). It was pretty cool. I was a player in a FSD20 game. I thought it was pretty solid. It does a good job of infusing the rules with the setting style. I like that.

I may well do so. Didn't know you were involved in it. Since you were, can you tell me how much is gurps rules and how much is background material?

Sorry Phil. Check out the Discworld thread as to why I'm boycotting the powered by GURPS games. Well, that and I actually have no knowledge of Hellboy beyond the movie which I saw late one night.

Yeah, my name's plastered in that book -- I had so many jobs on it I left out some of my own credits. It was a lot of fun even if it took years from concept to release.

Roughly a 50/50 split.
