Any good Scifi+cyberpunk rpgs?

Hmmm? Mekton is Interlock (same system as Cyberpunk), Bubblegum Crisis, too, AFAIK; Champions is HERO.

Just to note: Bubblegum Crisis is Fuzion powered. Also the hardsuits and mecha were originally built in Mekton Zeta Plus (AFAIK). Mekton Zeta Plus is an awesome engineering tool to add to a game system, you can make pretty much anything from handguns to starships. Yes a little tweaking is needed and some rules can be adjusted but it tends to work great for the stuff I am working on (Stargate: Fuzion and Ghost in the Shell: Fuzion)

Mike was down hanging with us at I-Con this year and a couple of my friends got to play it. From what they told me it was pretty good overall taking place after the collapse of most civilization. Plus something about nano-tech going crazy and rebuilding a city over and over again, tearing down buildings and raising them up again. Sounded kind of cool. From what Mike mentioned it sounded more like cyberPUNK than CYBERpunk, which makes he happy :)

wow. Sounds like Mike traded in Gibson for the Wachowski brothers. ;)

Shadowrun

Bloody F'ing brilliant. The books are written in a way that is just damn fun to read them; a quality that is sorely lacking in a vast majority of DnD 3.x books.

SR is the standardbearer of Cyberpunk. Ultimately anything else in the genre is going to be held up against it for comparison, and I've yet to see anything else come close.

Jay Libby still puts stuff out for Fuzion now and then but he is more into The Basic System (which is a bridge between Fuzion and d20) and is not a bad system to start with.

Have you got link?

If you are looking for purely story elements, then Ex Machina is heads and shoulders above most other CyberPunk offerings. (Again, said as someone who is a hardcore fan of CyberPunk and not of the Tri-Stat system).

It contains some brilliant settings and great writing.

Being a D20 guru, would you happen to know off hand if the Ex Machina D20 coming out is D20 Modern based, or a different version of D20 rules?
