Any good stronghold software?

The standard three, in order of both price and power (and complexity) are:

AutoRealm (free download somewhere, google it)
Fractal Mapper - about $35, does a good job
Profantasy's software - about $80+.

For dungeon software specifically, however, there's also Dungeoncrafter (try dungeoncrafter.com or .org or .net), which doesn't handle angles gracefully but is otherwise a wonderful product. There are several random dungeon generators out there on the 'Net as well, but I can't recommend any one in particular.

Anna Dobritt is nice, and very active. But she was going to do some maps for me, and after I agreed to the price she disappeared and nevery replied. Sigh.

This might sound a bit wacky, but I used to have a lego program that let you build castles. I can't remember the name of it. But it was more a 3D view, and they were sort of lego-ish (obviously).

Also, I used to use the editor in Roller Coaster Tycoon - it has a castle theme. You can make a nice looking isometric castle, take screen shots, then touch it up in a paint program.

I do think dungeoncrafter should be the best for maps

I am going to repeat: Dungeon Crafter - there are several user submitted castle and fortification tiles sets of varying scales - I should know, one of them is mine! :p

The site is indeed WWW.Dungeoncrafter.com .

The Auld Grump, who just used DC an hour or so ago.

I emailed you back about the maps and never heard back from you.
