Any one have The DEEP yet?

I haven't seen it, but my campaign is set in an infinite ocean so I'm planning on getting it when I can (unless I hear a lot of 'it sux' first...) ;)

I've got it here, thanks to Doug. To sum up the book in a single sentence, it is the marine biologist gamer's wet dream. The authors did a solid job pulling in actual scientific and oceanographic material and merging it with the fantasy stuff to create a very realistic and believable set of rules and surroundings.

I am just starting a new campaign at the comic/gaming store where I work and I think I am going to be using this book on a regular basis (much to the woe of the players I am sure). :)

If you intend to run an underwater campaign or have a campaign setting where the oceans and seas play a very dramatic role, you will likely want to have this book. It's certainly something that no one has succeeded in doing at this level of detail thus far...

If I'd be mailed a copy, I'd be more then happy to talk about it :D

It's on my list of books to get, So in the next week or two I should have it. It sounds really cool.

Any info on divine beings of the water or anything of that nature?

And here's hoping that "The Deep" inspires its share of DMs, to do just that.

Just 4 pages. Not a lot and what is there is tailored to the setting provided but should be easily alterable to fit other dieties.

3e D&D has already provided Blipdoolpoolp (kuo-toa), Deep Sashelas (sea elves), Eadro (locathah, merfolk), Panzuriel (evil aquatic), Sekolah (sahuagin), Demogorgon (evil aquatic), Ben-Hadar (good elemental water), Olhydra (evil elemental water), and Yeathan (evil water), among others.

I was just trying to allude to the fact I had never heard of this. Like, totally never.

So it's a book about aquatic depths. Does it contain the Behemoth Dread Otu?
