Any Other Santas getting in trouble for playing with the toys?

So my son is getting this RoboRaptor thing tomorrow and my wife keeps telling me to leave it alone. I know I won't be getting anything HALF that cool tomorrow.

Understood.

I bought my son (who is 7) the Heroscape boardgame, as an intro to gaming. I can barely keep myself from waking him up and having him open the gift, so we can play it together.

Come on, guys. It is our fatherly duty to quality test the toys before we give them to our sons. How else can be be sure they aren't getting a faulty gift? Just remind your wives that you only have the boy's best interests at heart. And pass the legos. :)

It seems women have a tendency to forget that men are just oversized boys. Yes our toys may cost more, but heck thats half the fun of working. Happy Holidays everyone.

One of my brothers bought the other the Zombie Survival Guide, and finished it himself before Christmas :)
Heh - I bought that for my roommate last year, and did the same thing.

According to my sister and my sister-in-law, there's no chance of anyone forgetting that in our family...

But on the up-side, "Uncle Bill" can roll around on the floor, play pretend club house under the table, and play games all day, and it's truly appreciated by all...

(Although those kids do start up darned early in the morning...) :D
