I hear ya on that one. I pre-order a crap-load of books at the beginning of the year, and this was one of them. Now I sit and wait.

Hey, we need to have something nice happen to us every now and then, too! Besides, in my case at least, a shorter chain to retail (my FLGS) evens out a lot of the geographical distance.

I had to laugh because I've been checking Amazon every day to see if it shipped. I should have just stopped off at Games Plus when my train stops out there. Lesson learned.

As with all of the domain feats (I believe) it varies based on character level (from 1-5 in this case).

Occasionally it's because Amazon don't pay attention. Wizards have to tell Amazon a lot more in advance about what titles they're releasing, and if Wizards changes the date on one, Amazon might not get the message (or it might not be entered into their system by the employees...)

I called Amazon and the guy there said that the were given a release date of June 5th by WotC and unless WotC contacts them and tells them it was wrong or it has changed, they have to honor the date they were given. There is nothing they can do till WotC contacts them.

So I cancelled and ordered from ENWorld shop.

There is definitely something odd with this book's distribution. I've seen Drow of the Underdark at the local chain bookstores, but no sign of Complete Champion. My world-famous FLGS, on the other hand, got them both at the same time.
