Stormlight Archives RPG Digital Copies open to Backers on July 23rd.

So today Brotherwise dropped the content from their Tariff-covering bonus sale (including a 60-page Strter rules @bedir than ), and I love the cover for Chasmfiend magazine issue 2 (available in physical form at GenCon later this year):

Among many other cool things, they went into their plans to make the core system an Open Content rules free for 3rd parties bonuses use:

"When we launched the COSMERE RPG on
Kickstarter, one of the first questions we heard from fans was, “will this system have an OGL?” An OGL, or Open Game License, empowers independent creators to develop and sell their own content within an RPG system. While an OGL isn’t feasible for a licensed property like Star Wars or the Cosmere, we knew that Dragonsteel supported the philosophy behind open gaming. PLOTWEAVER will be an original RPG system and setting that’s optimized for self-publishing."

"The core rules will be free, and Brotherwise designers will create official sourcebooks for fantasy, modern, and sci-fi settings. If you’re an aspiring RPG designer, or part of the existing “third-party developer” scene, you’ll be able to develop and monetize your own mechanics, adventures, and sourcebooks using the Plotweaver rules. You won’t be able to sell Stormlight or Mistborn content, but as long as you’re using your own IP, the PLOTWEAVER rules are free for you to use. Our goal is to build a thriving community and make PLOTWEAVER the industry’s most developer friendly open game system."

Thank you for letting me know.
I searched the Brotherwise website, the Cosmere RPG website and the Plotweaver site for this sale. It doesn't exist on any of them

It was to Backers only, an exchange of a few dollars for the digital files to help cover the unexpected tariffs costs: however, the 60 page starter document exists now, and that was included for free. Feels like something they would put in a starter set box down the line, so they are working on intro products.

It looks like the starter kit is free......but I didn't log in yet. Went for a long walk....
OK, yeah, I logged into my free Demiplane account, and the Starter Rules, same ones as rhe PDF distributed to Backers this morning, are free. These do not include character creation rules, @bedir than , and the text referring to the Adventure Module Bridge Nine makes me think that they are both prt of a planned boxed Starter Set down the line. But the free rules give a good overview of how play goes.
