Any sign of OtherWorld's products?

I am getting really tired of waiting for (OtherWorld Creation's) Mercenaries: Born of Blood to be released. I'm starting to doubt it will happen, which is a damn shame because the author's description of it sounded like just what I wanted.

Well, I wouldn't say I'm tired of waiting for it. that's $30 I can spend on something else!

I am a little worried that they've overextned themselves though with the blackplotation Solid d20 modern setting, Chill, and the whole Vertigo line, and of course their Diomi thing.

Hey Chris,

You're not the only one tired of waiting for it to come out. :)

There was a MAJOR snafu just as it was getting off to print and the book was delayed. However, it looks like everything has been dealt with and it should be off to print within the next week or so.

I'll also be putting up a PDF teaser within the next couple of days as well. Check the OWC website for the link later this week.

Hyrum.

As long as we have you Mr. Williams.

What is the word on Forbidden Kingdoms.

Still aiming for January?

Mistaken identity

>>>Does it tie into Mercnearies, another Vertigo book or somethign else?

In the interest of nondisclosure I'll be vague. It doesn't tie in to either of those books. It's a summary of a city you can use as a setting for more pulp action. In the style of Forbidden Kingdoms it combines real world history with OtherWorlds fictional twists. Notable NPC's, a new prestige class and adventure hooks.

>>>As long as we have you Mr. Williams.

I think you are mistaken. I am president of United Playtest, Inc. and we publish Gaming Frontiers. I don't work for OtherWorld Creations.

It's out isn't it? I got my copy at Gen Con.

Sorry, I meant to address Hyrum.

As for Forbidden Kingdoms ( sorry about that typo - doing everything in a hurry! ) The Players book is out. The Game Master book was supposedly due out in January, and I was just wondering i it is still on track.

BTW, Mr. Williams, that Gaming Frontiers is a pretty snazzy magazine/supplement.

I know I'm kind of biased as I'm one of the authors for the upcoming GM Codex but I really think it's going to be great. It was a blast to work on and there is tons of material to use.
