Anybody got Towers of High Sorcery or War of the Lance at GENCON?

Hi guys

I was told that the 2 new dragonlance books, war of the lance and towers of high sorcery would be avaible for sale at the soverign press booth at gencon

So, my question is: Did anybody bought it, or even got a chance to glance at it?

I'm very curious about those books!

Perhaps someone could write a review about them?

Thanks in advance

i got them both, and they're both really damn good books. War of the Lance, especially, is the book Dragonlance fans have wanted since the chronicles ended back in 86.

they're huge though, so it'll take a bit before i can review them.

Well, at least give something!!!!!!

The general content of each one would be amazing!!!

And what about the poster map?
Is it included in the WOTL?

Man, you're a lucky bastard.
I live in Brazil, it will probably take lots of months untill the books arrive here

hehehehe
bad luck

See ya

Thats's bad news

Yes, but the page count on the WotL sourcebook increased by nearly 100 pages, so it's not like you got ripped off. :)

I am in the odd position where I did, in fact, get the ToHS and WotL at Gencon - or rather a friend of mine picked them up for me.

I have not got them from him yet as he is in the burbs and I live and work in downtown Toronto.

So - amazingly enough. I own them both without being able to respond to any of these questions! Very frustrating :)

This will probably sound stupid, but despite being on of En World's reviewers, I didn't ask for a review copy. I was figuring on buying it until I got sidetracked by GURPS 4th ed where I picked up the special edition. Shame too as I really enjoyed the Bestiary.

I was on a limited budget so I couldn't get them :(

I'll have to wait till the general realease. I SO wanted the WotL sourcebook though!

The authors of the Bestiary enjoyed your review, too. ;)

Neither book is in stores yet (target dates are Sept 1st for ToHS and October 1st for WotL) and so if you're lucky and get in touch with Sovereign Press, you might be able to have a review ready at least before October.

Cheers,
Cam
